Are you fed up with having to wake up early to catch the morning cable or beat traffic on the roads? @Lovespuds Yes, I am genuinely put off by it’s lack of PS3 support. I was looking forward to the idea of having the ability to play my existing library of games all on one device. PS3, 4 and 5 on one nice, neat box under the TV. The better hardware also means that it is much less of a power drain. One of the major complaints about the older PlayStation 3 designs was how much energy it took to use it. The latest model nearly cuts the electricity used by the PS3 in half. This is good, because the old school power switch is no longer present. Most gamers never bothered with it one way or the other, but less power consumption is always a good thing. Years later and they once again showed off their ingenuity; creativity – when they unleashed Thief: The Dark Project upon us. Garrett, the memorable player character didn’t have guns, instead opting for a bow and arrow, and a sword to fight his battles – which was entirely not the idea of this game. Stealth was favoured and often the player was rewarded for taking the more shadowy route.
Although online games rely on your short term memory, playing the games can improve your important skills as well as long term memory. If you follow the same routine always, you may suffer from boredom and mental stagnation. By playing games online, you can fill up this gap and keep yourself occupied. PC gaming wasn’t included, as I explained in the article, PC gaming has no defined generations. A PC launched in 2007, with the right upgraded hardware can play a game released in 2020 or in 1989, so it is difficult to classify PC gaming generations. Lith also brought out NOLF, or No One Lives Forever, AVP 2 and eventually F.E.A.R. – a properly scary game. There were two expansions released for the latter, albeit by a different studio. All were initially for PC, but F.E.A.R. Files was released for the Xbox 360 later on.
We have a tendency within this generation to think that social media is the epitome of advocacy and awareness, but that has only been proven to be false. On June 2, 2020, also known as #blackouttuesday, people were posting black squares on Instagram, Facebook, and some on Twitter. The purpose of this day was to bring more attention to the Black Lives Matter movement and the unjust killings of black people in the United States. Although the intentions were good, this showed us ps3 an underlying issue. People who have been silent about race issues posted a black square on their timeline and called it a day. We truly believe that we can gain validation by seeming to be involved behind a screen. We can be whoever we like behind the walls of social media, whether it be an activist or a controversial leader. We believe that our online postings and our daily tweets are the only ones that genuinely play a significant role in our society to create a change.
